As one of 22 Massachusetts Area Agencies on Aging, Greater Lynn Senior Services is pleased to manage a Community Grants Program to fund a variety of programs authorized by the federal Older Americans Act and managed through the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs. Funding is offered for elder legal services, evidence-based healthy living programs, and other access or in-home supportive services. All grants are subject to the availability of federal funding. Target populations for funding include people aged 60 and older with particular attention to low-income and minority elders. The project period is October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022, with an opportunity for renewal for the period October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023, pending the achievement of identified service objectives.
