Greater Lynn Senior Services is committed to providing programming and services to all older adults, persons with disabilities, and their caregivers in the Greater Lynn area and, in some cases,  all of Boston's North Region. This includes providing resources, information, and support those individuals who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA), and their allies so that they can make informed health, mental health, and life choices more easily, comfortably, and with dignity. GLSS is committed to be an LGBTQIA friendly community, and welcomes all individuals regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, or anything that makes an individual unique.

  • Health Professionals Advancing LGBT Equality (previously known as the Gay & Lesbian Medical Association) is the world's largest and oldest association of LGBT healthcare professionals, with the mission of ensuring equality in healthcare for LGBT individuals and healthcare professionals. GLMA.org provides healthcare information for the LGBT community, including a free provider directory of LGBT welcoming healthcare providers. 
  • The LGBT Aging Project is a Boston-based non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender older adults have equal access to the life-prolonging benefits, protections, services and institutions that their heterosexual neighbors take for granted.
  • The National Resource Center on LGBT Aging, the country's first and only technical assistance resource center aims to improve the quality of services and supports offered to LGBT older adults. 
  • SAGE also has more information and resources for LGBT older adults and caregivers.
